Event: April Meeting – A Long, Long Walk

The Appalacian trail, or simply “AT.”, is a marked hiking trail approximately 2200 miles long.  The A.T. passes through 14 states from Main to Georgia.  The trail is maintained by 31 trail clubs and multiple partnerships and managed by the National Park Services and the nonprofit Appalachian Trial Conservancy.  Mike Robbins is what you call a thru-hiker.  He hiked the A.T. in its entirety in a single season.  Mike will be joining us to share his experiences on a long, long walk.
